Through multilingual financial education materials, community outreach, and issue-focused advocacy, Consumer Action, a 510(c)(3) nonprofit organization, empowers underrepresented consumers nationwide to assert their rights in the marketplace and financially prosper.
Annual Events
Consumer Action is celebrating its 51st anniversary year with the theme of “Restoring Trust.” We will present Consumer Excellence Awards to our 2022 Consumer Champions at our Anniversary Awards Reception, on Nov. 16, 2022, from 6-8 p.m., at the AT&T Forum for Technology, Entertainment & Policy in Washington, D.C. The 2022 Consumer Excellence Award recipients are U.S. Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts; FactCheck.org, a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center; and the Student Borrower Protection Center.
